18,349 copies for a 2019 audio work aimed at people who already own a prostate massager

This one is for people who already own a prostate massager and have run out of things to do with it. That is not me being cute. The title says so, and the work assumes it. If you do not own one, half of what you paid for cannot happen.

Which makes the sales number strange. 18,349 copies, checked at the start of August 2026. Released July 2019. It has been quietly outselling things with famous voice actresses and anime tie-ins for seven years, on a premise that disqualifies most of the people who see it.

The rating is high, but look at what kind of high

4.67 is a good score. The number that matters more is the one next to it: 5,125 people rated it, and 60 of them wrote anything.

I go on about this because star ratings on doujin storefronts are usually noise. A 4.9 from six people tells you six people liked it. A 4.67 from five thousand is a different object entirely — that is a distribution, and distributions do not lie about whether a thing works.

The 60 written reviews are the part I would actually read before buying. Sixty out of five thousand is a low conversion to text, which in my experience means people bought it, it did what it said, and there was nothing to argue about.

What it costs, properly

List price is ¥770. At the time I checked it was running 30% off, which is not a special event. Japanese doujin shops discount constantly and this circle's back catalogue seems to rotate through sales.

So: do not buy it at list. If it is not discounted today, it will be within a few weeks. ¥770 is already cheap by the standards of the format, and the file is 2.16GB of WAV, which for once is not padding — uncompressed audio is the point when the whole work is close-mic'd.

The other cost is the hardware, and that is the honest catch. A prostate massager from a Japanese shop runs somewhere between US$20 and US$45 before shipping. If you are buying both, the ¥770 is a rounding error and you should think of this as a US$40 purchase, not a ¥770 one.

Where the Japanese sits

I have not rated this one yet, and I am not going to fake it. (What the three levels mean, if you have not read that one.)

What I can tell you from the shop's own description is the shape of the thing. It is framed as a session at a members' club — you have booked a mistress, she explains what the course involves, and then it runs. That is a scripted structure, not a sound-led one. Instruction-heavy works usually land in some or a lot rather than barely any.

There is a mitigating factor, which is that instruction works are among the easiest scripted audio to follow without the language, because the situation does the explaining. You know what is being asked of you from tone alone.

And here is the thing that decides it, which I did not expect: this one gives you nothing to try. No streaming sample, and no trial download either, which are two separate things on DLsite and it has neither. Its stablemate RJ216777 does have a trial, so this is not just how the circle operates. For a ¥770 audio work with eighteen thousand sales it is unusual, and it means you cannot test any of the above before paying.

That changes what this purchase is. Everywhere else on this site I will tell you to open the sample and judge the speech-to-sound ratio yourself. Here you cannot. You are buying on the description, the sales figure, and whether the premise is yours.

Who should skip this

• Anyone without the hardware. This is not a work you grow into.
• Anyone who wants a story. There isn't one. It is a procedure with a voice attached.
• Anyone who dislikes being addressed directly. The entire runtime is second person.
• Anyone expecting variety of scene. One room, one voice, one long sequence.

That last one is the real filter. A single continuous idea, held for the whole runtime, is either exactly what you wanted or unbearable, and there is not much in between. I have not noted the running time yet, so do check it on the product page before you decide whether that is a feature or a threat.

¥847, 17,548 copies, and it does not need you to own anything. If you are curious about Chastity Fancier's approach but do not want to buy equipment first, this is the cheaper way in. I have not rated the language load on this one either.

One note on the circle name. Chastity Fancier, or 性的禁欲愛好家, which reads seiteki kin'yoku aikouka and translates as roughly "enthusiast of sexual abstinence". It does what it says on the tin. Everything in the catalogue is built around denial and forced release rather than affection. If that framing does nothing for you, no individual work here will fix that.

So the decision comes down to one question you can answer without hearing anything: do you own the hardware, and are you willing to sit inside a single idea for the whole runtime. If both are yes, ¥770 discounted is not much of a gamble. If either is no, skip it.
